Great intro. I loved it. And drawing your audience in for a fear of public speaking essay shouldn't be hard at all. I, for one, hate public speaking. Make sure to tell a story or two, but keep things in general terms. If you make everything a story about you, then the readers are just reading a story and aren't being drawn in so that it matters to them. Use a few statistics, if you can find them, about how many people don't like public speaking, or how many people want to make speaking in public a goal to accomplish at some point in their lives. Keep it up, and you'll go far. It sounds good to me. ~ace~
