My husband is being almost completely useless?

Ever since I started university he is in charge of house/ child on weekends so that I can study. My problem is I get SOOO stressed out because he does NOTHING, ok let me rephrase that, he supervises the child and he washed the dogs today. But he left the bathroom a complete mess (very grotty) and no dishes have been done, he served her fried chips for lunch and there is just mess EVERYWHERE. He doesnt do washing or anything, when she has her 2 hours nap he plays xbox and I am just going crazy. How can I focus on studying while the house is falling apart I am soooo annoyed but he refuses to talk to me about it. I want to tell him in a nice way but he doesnt take criticism well. What do I do?
