Does my guy friend like me?

we've been friends for a few months but I see him as just a friend. we are in a group, the four of us, me, him, and two other people, in school and he was relieved to know that we weren't changing seats. When I didn't stop by and say hi to him and a group one morning before school he came by to my first period and asked where i was. he always talks to me, but he's really shy. one time we were all talking about eye color in our group in cl and he asked me what mine were and looked into them really deeply. he makes eye contact with me a lot and i feel like whenever i look up he looks at me. he follows me to first period. idk if that's creeper-ish or not..one girl in our group made plans to go somewhere as a group and when I couldn't go they bailed. two of my close friends think he likes me. prom is in april and idk if he'll ask me. do you think he likes me iwant to confirm suspicions.
